Newbie here, and I tried searching but no luck.

Can someone point me to what type and part number of LED replacement bulbs I need for the head lamps and fog lamps? I may do a retrofit later on, but for now I want to keep it stock and replacing my factory bulbs is a must mod as the stock ones are well....bad :) Thanks in advance.

Well, the BEST one will be 2018 full LED housing when it's available.

In the past retrofit was the only way to go but for similar price I would rather go with oem sealed unit.

Ok, so it sounds like I am better off just waiting and purchasing new housing units from the '18 when available. Just curious, but will they be a plug and play unit and work with my Platinum adjustable switch?

Only problem there is they aren't plug/play. Wish they were though.

in the 2018 headlight thread it sounds like once some of the "experts" on here get their hands on the actual unit a plug and play harness will be developed pretty quickly.

That's great news! Seems the obvious choice for me is to wait and get the new headlamp assemblies once the plug and play is available. Even better than new bulbs :)

Only if they function as well as a retrofit. I haven't heard any about their performance yet. We know retrofits perform great.

Man, I have never done a retrofit nor do I think that I have the mechanical aptitude to make a pair lol. Does anyone on the forum make them and sell them? I would consider that option if I can purchase a pair.

I am in the same boat. There is a vendor on here (EleDobleU's Retrofits) that many on here have used with success. The OEM LED would definitely seem to be more straightforward if they are plug and play or can be readily adapted, and perform well.

I'm using these in the interum until I can do my retrofit or 2018 Headlights.
They are a "little" better than stock but not by much. I did it more so the color isn't yellow.

Confirmed today 2018 LED Foglights are plug and play and take about 20 min to swop out. Mine came in and I stalled them at lunch.
