Had a lot of water in my center console cupholders after a heavy rain. I noticed stains on my headliner front right side and rear. I read that this can be a problem on several different Toyota models which is from the seals on 2 roof trims. Found a good you tube repair clip on it. One thing I'm puzzled about and couldn't find an answer on is there is a small round silver piece on the rear part of the roof that looks slightly bigger than a quarter. Was hoping someone could tell me what it is because it looks like water could be getting in there also. I appreciate any help.

That almost looks like it was the hole for the shark fin antenna, but I don't remember if that was on the '19's or not. I believe the GPS antenna is more towards the windshield.

Did you buy this used? I'm wondering if someone did an aftermarket mod and this was their reversal.

I'm almost positive that the shark fin was a 2020 addition. This looks like some sort of modification...

    Alot of them
2019s had an antenna on the front passenger side by the windshield. The shark fin started on the 2020's, but sits further back closer to the 3rd brake light. My guess is that the hole shown was for a CB or ham/GMRS radio antenna.

I bought the truck used from a dealer when it was 2 years old. I usually put cardboard on the ground and crawl under a vehicle to check everything before buying but in this case with 25k miles I wasn't as thorough. I took another pic which shows the antenna in the front right area, so yea I'm beginning to think previous owner put a cb antenna or something in. The edge of it lifts up easily so I'm probably going to put some good sealant on it to prevent problems. Thanks for the replies.

Best of luck to you. Hopefully you can get it to seal. If not, I would say get the shark fin with the gasket and see if that seals it up even if it's just a foe antenna.

Yep, just put some clear silicone on it and call it a day.
