After a decade and 2 generations of Tundras i traded mine in for a more capable towing truck.

My 1150 pound payload just wasn't cutting it.
I never wanted to let her go but i needed to.

    Here's my new to me 2020 GMC 3500HD AT4.
    3700 lbs of payload.

Great looking truck! Seems to be handling that small girls bicycle with no squat, so the extra payload is paying off already!

I love my truck, but I will eventually wind up doing the same thing. A couple of my buddies are die hard Duramax guys. A couple others are driving 6.7 F350s.

A 7.3 Tremor looks about the best on paper for my needs, but my buddies’ Fords have been back to the dealer multiple times. Ain’t that the way of the Fords these days, though?

Good luck with the truck!! GMC's are nice as I looked at them too. AT the time they had such low stock I couldn't find one.

I didn't have a preference i was just looking for the best deal with the best payload and wanted to stay away from a Dodge Ram. I wanted a 3/4 ton but couldn't pass up this particular truck. Had everything i wanted and it even came with a 5 inch lift already.

All i had to do was put 20 inch Methods and 37 inch tires.

I really like the Tremor though. Ford and GM is the way to go can't go wrong with either.

My next vehicle will be a cyber truck or GMC 2500. I don’t tow shit but like the truck life too. Tundras are under powered, and the new ones I simply do not trust

I love my Tundra. I just wish it was more capable.
1150 #'s of payload stock is not enough when towing.

That's not including my 35's, my sliders, my stuff and my family then add a trailer i was well over payload.

I was planning on going the Cybertruck route because i would then be able to consolidate my work car which is a Model 3 and my truck but i just don't trust the advertised range specially with towing a trailer.

    Here's my Model 3.

Those wheels are great man! Great color choice.

On my last Tundra, it had 35's, sliders, alum skids, etc and was a pig.

Such good looking trucks. I actually think the AT4 are easily the most attractive trucks on the road. I was looking at them a few weeks ago, but ultimately decided I am, and will always be, a Toyota guy so I pulled the trigger on the Tundra.

People used to make do with much less. But now we are nannied into needing an HD truck to pull a camper that sleeps a family of 5. Or making the wife and kids follow in another vehicle.

The bedside, the bumper and the multi function tailgate helps me get up.
Had the same problem on the tundra.

    I had a Platinum 4x4.
    my door sticker said 1150.

Even if it was really 1600 I'd still be over the payload.

Triple the amount of payload. That's wild.

Great looking truck! Nothings better than having the right truck for your needs. All while having an efficient daily (work)

    Enjoy the new truck!

Nice ride... I've really liked and wanted those HD trucks, the Sierras really interest me and the F350s or 250s, but for me they're too much truck, all they'll be towing is my Celica or SC which the Tundra has enough power for what I need, so I just window shop them... Of course, with all these moves I've done I'd rather have an HD and take everything in 1 trip vs various vehicles and multiple trips.

if you’re not way over payload like me then the Tundra is fine.
