i bought the springs from Toytec separately, then asked the service tech to install them instead of the spacer that comes w the kit. i read a few posts about rear droop w the stock springs + spacer and this was my idea to avoid that when loaded w tools & supplies.

Yes please, take the picture. I'm sure more people have the same doubt. It would be nice to be able to open it completely but I don't see how it could be done without obstructing the storage capacity.

I ordered mine Sunday night, got confirmation Monday morning and a shipping notice Tuesday morning. Mailman just delivered it an hour ago. Of course, I’m in Iowa so it didn’t travel far. Thanks to the OP for the tip. Now, I have to order two light bars and marker lights.

Put a coat of ceramic spray wax on. Not used it before, figured it was worth a try.

Dog cover installed and first time trip in the back seat, which is new for her.

Washed it the other day for the first time after buying it, and then it rained.

Today I installed the oem bed rails from @Blufin - Thanks for sending those!
Also installed the retrax cover with the help of my neighbor.

Woah, what year is this? I haven't seen gas below the mid $4's in 10 years at least. I was super happy at $4.24 today.

CA complaining aside, the manual does say "or better" with 87. Other turbo builders (Ford) seem to do bette with higher grades. I still wonder if it is worth it in general.

First time dragging the boat around. Didn't break a sweat, but I think I'm only around 4,200 pounds so not surprised.

significantly lighter than a standard fiberglass topper (which could mean better MPG) but more importantly, It is easy to take on and off which is what I would want. I use it as a work truck during the week and son weekends, I would go camping or take a long range trip up north to see my parents

I’m intrigued. Haven’t heard of them. I wonder how strong it is. Can it take extreme cross wind for example. It has some great pros, not sure what the cons are.

The real benefit might be if there’s good R value in that air space. I could see some good 3 season camping/road trip potential.

there is another YouTube video of a guy who does astrophotography up in the high deserts and he made a comment about the R-value as well. Interesting you mention that.

Bought some new tie downs for the bed rails. They’re a little bigger in person than expected but will absolutely do the job. Love how they have angled openings so you can get a proper tension with your rope.

Installed the Timbren SES bump stops for some squat control when hooking up the camper. Easy to see the difference it will make. Easy peazy. Just get under truck and swap out with same bolts.

Does the auto air dam still function with the NYTOP recovery points? Looks very nice!
