2018 SR5. Have had it for about a month now and twice in the past week, the AC was not working/blowing any air after starting the truck. After about 10 minutes, the AC began blowing again. The fan blower seems to be very sporadic. It will blow weak, then get stronger after several seconds. Also noticed a “helicopter” style noise randomly when it works. Is this the blower?

I have an extended warranty for the truck, but if it’s something relatively easy to fix, I’d rather just do it myself and not deal with the dealership. I’ve read the AC blower is easy to replace and not super expensive .

Any advice would be appreciated .

I would pull the cabin air filter, then run the fan to see if you can get a better idea of how its functioning and if something might be obstructing the fan and making noise.
