This was on my hunt club property. I stopped to look around and thought the truck looked pretty cool with the cutover behind it.

 

If you live anywhere close to NYC, NJ or the Catskills, we can meet, look at and drive my truck. I have a Capstone with 37" tires with just a 1/2" spacer on top, TRD lift Upper arms, aftermarket wheels with +35 offset and little trimming that you already see it mentioned.

I am going to tell you how I looked at this. The new gen Tundra have aprox 7" of travel. 3 1/2 up travel and the other 3 1/2 droop. Yes, thats all there is. You will get a little bit more if you remove the front sway bar but this is for another conversation.
I Installed the 37" tires and only with that 1/2" spacer on top of the coilover, I was about 4" from top of the fender. I lifted the truck with a fork lift and the bigest limitation was the sway bar. I took it for few rides and I hit few spped bumps around the local school at around 30 miles. Is at that time that I finally got to touch with the tire the felt crease under the driver fender. I installed a 1/4" spacer on top of the bump stop and call it the day. Important here is the wheel offset and a good alignment. These trucs will alow a bigger tire way easier than the 2 nd gen.
I lost about 2mpg from 35" to 37", little bit of torque and I feel that the oem shooks have a hard time controling that 100lbs mass when I hit a really bad road over a long distance. I think a bigger diameter shock would improve there. Work in progress.
Now, you can go ahead and buy those nice aftermaket coilsover that most likely will perform better and outperform the oem shocks if you go offroad a lot but,, you Do not have to do it for the style of driving you mentioned. Don't buy into big lifts and ,,,,you are a mall cralwer,,, if you dont install one. Is your truck and your money.

Yeah not much articulation. My understanding is that front sway bar came from the 2.5 gen Sport Model. So it is not brand new down to every bolt - 8^0

Here is a Capstone with 35's

Dealer install - charged $2500 for this lift and $5000 for the 35 “ tires.

Fwiw - the dealership in this video seems to have "alot" of 2024's on the lot.
