Max time on battery

Has anyone sat for an extended period with the truck in Alt mode so engine is off, but nav etc is on.
Have a Binize and wondering if the truck will still start after 2 hours of watching a movie while on a ferry.

 

With just the head unit on, mine shuts off after a short period of time no longer than 20 minutes. The dash says “To conserve battery” or something like that, but that’s in acc mode.

 

most toyota's have a master shutoff after 20 mins of battery drain, not just the tundra. i have it on my 2014 4runner.

it doesnt matter what the drain is, overhead light, radio, etc.

newer toyota's have a master shutoff on engine run time in park (without an actual key), 60 mins.

 

Which makes it tough when watching a movie at drive in theater and that theater has switch from speaker on a post to FM broadcast, since transistor radios are hard to come by, but then again the drive in theaters are fading away as well. There are a few still out there, very few...

 

Had this exact issue at Drive-in's with my 2021. The stereo won't stay on in acc past 15 min. Very Frustrating was hoping carista would have a setting so the timeout length could be adjusted but nothing in there.

 

We still have one here in Buffalo. It’s a drive from the city but it’s very popular. I use a Dewalt radio for sound, put an air mattress in the bed, and then fall asleep before the second movie.
