Aftermarket Stereo sound only coming from center speaker

    Hi,

    New here! I have searched for this issue and not found a thread that deals specificall with this...if I missed it, I apologize.

    Just installed an aftermarket stereo in my 2016 Tundra, aplifier, but non-jbl. Used Crux SWRTY 61-N to retain steering controls. I am only getting sound from the center speaker. If I had an aftermarket amp...which I don't...I'd say the amp wasn't coming on. Checked wire connections, colors all match up and seem to be solid connections. (All speakers were working with factory radio.)

    New unit is Jensen CAR910X.

    Any suggestions for troubleshooting or ferreting out the problem?

    The dash speakers are powered by the head unit, but the door speakers go through the factory amp under the front passenger seat. I am not familiar with that adapter you used, but there are wire harnesses available to make the swap work. Make sure you have signal to the amp through the stock wires either via the Crux thingy you used or the proper wire harness.
