I hate to revive an old thread but, I'm interested on how these Joying & Dasaita are holding up after several years. I've discarded Phoenix due to their horrible reputation and at the end I realized the big screen is not a need for me vs. double the price.
I'm also interested on new contenders as well.
    Thx.

12” Bulletproof Lift, AFE CAI, AFE Exhaust, rock lights, Fas-Top tonneau and soft topper, Dasaita 10.2” radio, light bar, ditch lights, LED headlights and fog lights, LED interior lights, Amp Research rear bumper step, dashcam, BT ODBII reader and Torque app on radio
I liked my 10.2” Dasaita. Only issues until a week or two ago was the occasional issue with the Bluetooth not coming on. Had to reboot the radio to get wireless CarPlay to work at times. Now the screen backlight started to flicker.

Just received my 11.6” Joying unit and installed tonight. Like the look so far, just working on tweaking it. Only issue so far is the SWC not working. Emailing Joying now.

Please add some pics if you get a chance.

I'm on the fence if I want to lose my factory JBL. I'm liking these Joying units, but need to be swayed.

Sorry to hear on the issues.
I'm leaning more on the Joying so far myself.
Please keep us posted and thx. For the update.

I’ll post some pics tomorrow. Getting past my bedtime. What do you mean lose your factory JBL?

I’m sure it’s something simple. Confused on the Canout vs Canin vs Key harnesses on the radio. I’ve tried both ways and neither works for me.

My 21 has a JBL system...I think. I haven't driven it much, but I know the system is not very good for being one of the higher end systems.

I'm not real critical for needing quality sound, but I really like the things the Joying units allow.

I’ve also got the JBL system. With the amp and speakers as well as an aftermarket amp and sub. The Joying unit may not be as powerful as the Kenwoods or Pioneers but I’m no audiofile so it sounds good to me!

Here are a few photos of the 11.6” Joying unit. I really like it so far but still need to get the SWC working, see if I can connect it to my ODBII Bluetooth reader, get my front camera I added working, get a dash cam app installed and working with my usb camera, etc….

it does some very close and possibly event hitting the trim on the lower left. I think you can move the screen up some, but haven’t tried that yet.

I just want to chime in and say I cannot recommend these if you use your phone for talking. The sound quality was muffled, squeaky, and words are dropped. This is my experience with the Dasaita.

Did you use the mic in the radio or the external mic? I’ve not had issues with the Dasaita I had and I’ve made one phone call with the Joying and seemed to work fine. Both used external mics.

I used the internal mic. I read reports that the external mic had the same issue but I’ve thought about trying it for myself. To be honest the call quality was so bad compared to OE Bluetooth that I scrapped the idea as I just didn’t see the external mic making that big of a jump in quality based on reports on this forum. Maybe I should check it out again anyway.

    Hey,

How are people liking their Joying head units? What your experiences with connecting front and rear cameras?

Mine is going pretty well so far. Minor issue with location when using Waze and Apple Maps. Got an update from Joying I need to install.

I have a usb dashcam, front bumper camera and backup camera all working. Also have TPMS hooked up. Get an error occasionally with that.

I like mine a lot. I am using the JY-TZ167N4 (10.1" non-floating screen) https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-2...inch-ips-screen-android-car-audio-system.html Screen is very bright, is quite zippy, and it has a dash cam function built-in once you add a uSD card and Joying camera. Their camera setup (the AR Camera app) lets you switch between front camera or rear camera on demand. You can set it up to automatically record your front or/and rear camera when the ignition is on. The recording function is working great with the Joying AR camera I mounted to my front lower bumper area, but my aftermarket tailgate camera will not record.... however it does work fine as a backup camera.
I noticed this newer Joying version running Android 12 has different hardware and a much higher RCA output amplitude (compared to the older version) which is nice if you are running an external amp.
