I'll take the Lions if they win the conference. Otherwise, whoever wins the AFC over the Niners. But I'd love to see a Ravens over the Niners in a Super Bowl rematch.

9ers can’t stop the run. Lions have a good chance if the good version on Goff shows up.

Hopefully these last two wins and the fact that Jason Kelce is cheering them on shirtless in artic weather will be enough of a fire for the TEAM to go to the Super Bowl and win!:) Good Luck K.C. Chiefs!

They did all year, GB is a dynamic offensive scheme. Think about it… Lafleur has been with the Shanahans his whole life. niners are coming off of 3 weeks of not playing for the most part. Not making excuses at all, they did play garbage against the run and pass this weekend.

Lions really don’t cover-up their run/play options very well. Still pulling for my niners tho, don’t really see the Lions coming in and winning this with or without Deebo

I just don't see the lions D being able to stop The SF offense. I'm thinking/hoping it'll be an offensive shootout!

Aikman doesn't bother me, but I'm glad I didn't have to listen to Buck Saturday night. If I had to hear

    "Pass is.............................
    ...............................
    ...............................
    ...............................
    ...............................
    ...............................
    ...............................

    CAUGHT!"

47 more times in a single game, I'd probably have a tough time today explaining to my TV manufacturer that a remote control lodged into my TV screen should be covered under warranty.

I'll make "excuses" but in my brain, they're reasons . Purdy hasn't played in the rain... probably EVER in his NFL career. I don't remember any rain game he's had. So... slippery wet ball that he's maybe had 20 reps with in practice. I imagine since Wisconsin actually has WEATHER, Love has had more practice with a wet ball.

Purdy had the grippy glove on for one play and ditched it. He didn't seem comfortable with it on and probably didn't practice much with it either. This coming weekend should be good weather, so that should really help him.

I don't know much about the Lions D, but I DO know they look like a formidable opponent from the games I have caught. It should be a fun game to watch, and if the Lions end up in the Super Bowl, that's not the WORST outcome. I'll even cheer them on.

But I SWEAR if Ambry Thomas pulls boneheaded DPI crap again, I will absolutely lose it

Seriously! I was yelling at Thomas on the second DPI on 3rd and 15!!!! Had to apologize to my kids lol.

I completely agree, the only other cold weather game BP had played in was last years NFC Championship game against the Eagles. Besides the conditions still glad he’s confident and not scared to throw it in the rain. Most QBs would abandon it and settle for the run but he kept it flying.

Positive news is seeing them rally and come from behind without Deebo. 99% of critics saying he’s a system QB because of all his weapons is nonsense. He had no “mentor” like most of todays QBs who sit behind future HOF’ers for a few years. Shoot he was third string last year.

Keep feeding Kittle, BA, CMC and JJ and we good. Defense needs to settle in

Both QBs had accuracy problems. Love was on point and lighting things up the latter half of the season, but had off throws this game. Same with Purdy, probably due to rust or even the weather. If both were on point, we probably would have had a shootout.

And while Love should never have thrown that last pass, I also have a tough time criticizing him being that he was successfully making off-balance throws pretty much all season long, which I'd guess that track record gave him confidence to attempt that throw. I like that he's trusting in himself, but in this case I hope he learns from it.

Still wasn't happy with the outcome being how close the game was. I just knew after that missed FG - yet again <sigh> - by Carlson, the Niners were going to march down that field and score score against that brilliant Barry defense. I couldn't watch and stepped away and am guessing he called his usual soft zone that can't stop an ant colony carrying a football. I still haven't bothered to watch that drive. I knew at some point this Packers defense was going to be a liability, and that was all I could think of when they gave the ball back with less than a 1 TD lead.

Couldn’t agree more. Love is a talented QB and those pass attempts are amazing. A young group to grow together if they are able to retain them all will make the Packers a huge threat, no doubt. I enjoy good games and talented groups. Hard to get mad at great plays, just stupid DPIs lol.

The dude had I think a 21:1 TD:interception ratio last 10 games going into the divisional, with a good amount of off-balance and several cross body completions. Hard for me to criticize him for trusting in himself. And they took down KC and Detroit during that run.

The receiving core should still be intact next year. Lots of first year WRs and the only veteran WR (Watson) just wrapped up his 2nd season. The kid that caught one of the TDs (Melton) was called up from the practice squad only a few weeks ago and already has a 100+ yard game. They just need to get that defense fixed to be a real contender.
