    Hey guys,
    Two questions.
    1) someone tried to steal my truck this past weekend. The broke the passenger side window to get in and accessed the wire harness under the steering wheel.. or at least they had that hatch pulled open. Anyone know what would they be trying to do in there?

    2) upgrade wise… what are you guys putting in to improve the security of your vehicles?

    Thanks!

They probably thought it was a Hyundai without an immobilizer. Good luck to them trying to steal it that way.

Yeah, I have no idea what they could have been trying to do?? They ended up tripping the alarm after 30 mins in the truck.

“The Club” is still a very effective way to deter theft. For the simple reason that it requires some more time and much noisier to cut the steering wheel to remove it (Club). It won’t stop the theft but usually they will go after another vehicle before messing with yours.

What I don't understand is why the steering wheel does not lock ? On the highlander it does . I always put the key fob in battery saver mode and keep it in a faraday case for kicks to keep it from talking to iot's
