    Hey guys,
Seems like a silly question but I just bought a 22 tundra and the seat memory switches on the drivers door does not light up in this truck. The local dealer says they do not light up but that seems very odd to me. I have never seen any modern truck today that all the switch don't have lights in them.

Can anyone confirm that their memory seat switches do or do not light up?

No, they aren't in my 1794, but they should be - I even tried to turn on the overhead lighting to see them and can't still - so I turned on the flashlight on my phone so I could see them.
Not sure if there's any way to put a led in there.

There are memory settings for seat/steering wheel/mirror settings on some models - for 2 different settings. (1,2,Set buttons on drivers door arm side below window buttons)

It's when your wife tells you 6 months ago you can spend $50k on a new SR5 but when you finally pull the trigger (while the wife is out of town) you come home with a $70k 1794. "Honestly honey, I don't remember you said that"

    True story BTW.

Those buttons can only be used in a stop situation, so why would they expense for them to be lit? They should be relocated as my left knee hits them all the time.

Because its dark in the morning when I go to work, and my wife set it to memory 2 the day before and didnt change it back when she was done. It has only happened a handful of times, but mildly annoying they backlit every other button in the cab, but not these. Even more annoying that I still cannot see the buttons with my cabin light on.

I believe you should be able to assign keys to different drivers once you have your second key, so hopefully memory seats and mirrors should be able to automatically set to whoever is driving.

Oh wait, most of us still only have one key.

If this is true, I havent figured it out. I have both key fobs (now), and I still have to press the buttons. Maybe I will dig into the settings and see if this is actually the case. It would be nice if it were.

    Yes 100% accurate.
Mine are not back-lit it would be nice though but at the end of the day I honestly feel that we will survive this travesty.
