Check your radiator cap

    While futzing around trying to determine the source of my coolant leak, I noticed the inner seal on the radiator cap had come off. Looks like it was a press fit with an inner SS ring, but likely due to age/corrosion, the friction fit let go.
    Went with the OEM cap although it looks different.

    If you look around some more, u might find the nipple section of your cap logged inside your radiator,water pump, or thermostat area causing u to over heat in the summer. I change my radiator caps at 100k and again at 200k.

    TRD Sway Bar, Roll covers USA bed cover
    My spring, nipple and gasket were jammed in the radiator. I didn't find out until the water pump took out the radiator and I turned it over to find my missing pieces. Never overheated or cause any issues in that time frame.

    Went to check my fluid to ensure it would survive the current cold snap and it fell apart taking it out.
    $10 or so later and brand new cap
