I live in new Hampshire. When it barely snows, the precollision and parking sensors are covered and it alarms in the vehicle. Unless I temp disable, the written alarm does not clear, covering the speed etc. I have two questions

    1. Is there a way besides physically getting out of my vehicle to keep them clean. Tried rainx etc with no luck

    2. If there is no way to keep them clean, can I permanently disable them

With the sensors going into alarm with barely any snow, I'm concerned they will be in alarm all winter once if really snows

    I have a 2022 tundra limited

No way I know to keep snow off and you can't permanently disable them.

I just wipe it off with my glove when I'm walking to the truck. No issues. Takes 2 seconds.

It's winter here for 5 months a year. The sensor goes off on my 2019 about 3-4x a year, when driving in heavy or wet snow. It usually clears itself if I am still driving.

Understood, but when I clean it off, I drive for 30 seconds and they are on again because the sensor gets covered from slush/snow while driving

Did you get any answers as I have the same issue. Stop and clean and they are dirty in a few minutes.

Was just going to comment on my 2018 Camry it just says the precollision warning system is unavailable when the sensor has snow on it, but no other warning or issues.

My 2021 Tundra just shows you a little alert that says the radar cruise is unavailable. I turned the PCA off

I just found out that if the radar cruise goes off because of dirty sensors you can hold down the cruise button for about 3 to 5 seconds and it switches to steady speed cruise,, no radar. Only do this when the roads clear up. Not so safe on slippery roads but it does kick off instantly if you loose traction. As I found out lol
