Glad to see they have worked out the bugs.

On the F150 front, you might want to wait a long time until all of the UAW sabotaged ones are sold out. Why anyone would buy a product from a company that the workers hate makes no sense.

PS I have owned 3 Ford ecoboost products that had zero issues in the past.

As a multiple gas turbo motor owner and currently driving a chevy silverado 2.7L 4 cylinder turbo as a work truck, make sure to change that oil early as well as keep air filters clean. I am assuming Toyota is doing what Ford and Chevy do by cooling the turbos with radiator fluid and oil. That breaks down the oil earlier.

All the Ecoboost high mileage guys with no break downs that also towed did their oil changes around 5k miles and many did the spark plugs early too as they are under high pressure.

Good luck because I will be buying one of yours used in about 10 years and I want them to be great trucks.

Crap. Still next year. Q? Are you 2024 MY buyers getting 2 FOBs at purchase as per this chart?

No. I just bought my 24 on Saturday and received one key. When I asked for the other one, I was told "you'll receive a letter from Toyota when available."

My seat creaks and croaks but isn't noticeable unless it's dead silent. If I have music on it's not noticeable. I had a cracked seat panel as well. I knew it was notorious, tried my best to baby the seat getting in and out but to no avail, eventually got it replaced with the improved part under warranty. Besides that, no complaints, no rattles, no whistles. Love it. Drives awesome. Does exactly what I need it to do. No regrets.

Do you just get a letter in the mail one day to go pick it up at the dealer?

The only issue on the ‘24s that I saw (past few months) at a few different dealerships was that with some of them, the exterior driver or front passenger door window gasket was a little janky. The design is “different”, I might call it an inferior design step-back, we’ll see.

I’ve had none of the issues mentioned here with mine so far. One of the front door speakers does make something in the door panel buzz a little sometimes, not all the time. The stock head unit has a fuller sound with more bass than my previous stock Toyotas. But it does seem like the bass at the flat level is too much for the door sometimes. The buzz doesn’t bother me and it seems to be the occasional song at the right volume. It might just be a winter thing with the door panel.:fingerscrossed:

Overall the fit and finish is great throughout mine and I am very happy with it. It’s cool that they offer so many options with the SR5 now. I would rather deal with speaker issues on the SR5 than spend the money on the higher trims, but that’s just me. I mean, I liked the higher trims, but we have a RAV4 Limited reserved for my wife and this time we are getting her every option she wants.
