Are you working on a light?
My guess would be that receptacles are on those breakers and the lights are on a circuit for just lighting.

 

One of mine is on a circuit labeled "lights".
Fortunately it's only 120. Just keep poking and hoping. Me, I'd test it with a meter.

 

Breaker panels that are labeled wrong, or not labeled at all are one of my favorites.

 

I almost fell asleep watching that..

 

I recently replaced my interior GFI outlets.
There is one in the master ('er I mean primary ) walk-in closet.
It isn't on any of the bedroom plugs or light breakers.
It's on a breaker that has some scribblings on the breaker door.
The top of 29.



The worst part;
It's a feed-thru receptacle and I cannot figure out where it goes from the closet.

Surgery went great, it took twice as long as they were thinking but they are really happy with the outcome. Back to work tomorrow

I mean, I guess this is good news if you like getting a paycheck.

 

Once upon a time, many moons ago, you did not have computers and word processing programs and I can understand why these silly circuit breaker charts existed. But now can anyone explain why they cannot list every receptacle and light and appliance outlet in their phone, then have a computer printout that gets posted in the box?

Real answer - they are lazy and they do not care!! AND, consumers are willing to accept half-assed work.

PS - top of 29 is the Jacuzzi (if you do not have one then it is the neighbors)

That's good. Take advantage of the down time if you can, and do something you both enjoy. Watch a movie, play some cribbage, etc. Our parents are only with us for so long, and you'll never regret quality time spent with them.

 

10 minutes left on shift. Some minor errands to run after work, and then I plan to sleeeeeeeep.
