I believe when I put my Tundra into reverse it momentarily made a grinding noise. Sounded like it came from front left portion of the engine. I made sure that I didn’t come in contact with anything external. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Also the first few days of ownership when exiting the truck it smells like burning brakes/oil possibly, not sure if that’s an issue also.

Burning smell for me lasted until nearly 1k miles. It dissipated after that and never came back. No leaks, no problems.
