Sway bar links Moog K90681

Hey y’all, has anyone installed these? If yes any issues? recently lifted my tundra about 1.5 inches on front to level it. Bought these

$22 moogs k90681 suspension stabilizer bar link for toyota tundra

moogs k90681 and they are a bit different, they state these are for off-road package and are a little longer Vs the non off-road package version moog k90680, should I just gotten the regular non off-road package version?
They came with no washers nor instructions . I believe second picture is how they’re supposed to be installed. Thank you.

 

Recently put a set of these on my 06. I had my local part store order them and was surprised at the way they were built with the “white” material…actually thought they were “knock offs” so I called Moog and spoke to them, was surprised when they told that this was the new type of material that they are using now. Yes, your 2nd picture is the right installation orientation. Had mine on for about 5 weeks, I check them about once a week to ensure they are holding up.

Interesting, I put standard Moogs on my 06’ and the GF’s 07’ Sequoia, and they failed on both rigs in less than a year.

 

I wasted $800 having moog upper, lower and stabilizer links put in at about 220k. Just has to replace them at 229k. Lasted exactly a year then they all snapped. The warranty was a year— go figure. Do your research and please dont put moog in.

 

After looking at those, they look interesting

Sway Bar Links are easy to replace, and for all new factory is like $250+

I purchased the Suspension Maxx, but snapped the lower portion with a 3/8” hand ratchet I guess 40lbs means 40lbs lol. They are going to send me a new one.

 

Planning to purchase Suspension Maxx this spring since I leveled the first gen with 5100’s.

I've had Moogs for years. Had to replace them once under their lifetime warranty; no issues. However that new white bushing is new to me as well.

I picked Moog because they were cheaper and it isn't a critical functioning item. Plus they're relatively easy to get out unlike the OEM part.

 

I will definitely keep an eye on these to see how they holding up.

 

My exact thought, unfortunately my Moogs, (older style) failed in under a year on both my 06’ Tundra and 07’ Sequoia.

 

After following this thread, i'm feeling better and better that i deleted my swaybar last summer.
