This isn't going to be anything fancy or elaborate as some of the other threads here. Mainly used to help me keep track of what little upgrades I do to the truck.

Some of y'all's builds and threads are great! Y'all go into good detail and document the process very well. Hopefully I can at least try to document everything as I go along, and make it a bit interesting in case someone reads this

    Right now, it's bone stock
    • Removed chrome badging and dealer stickers
    • Removed predator steps

What are you replacing the predators with? I was looking to possibly grab a set, but if theyre useless (mainly as a step, not worried about offroading) dont want to waste my time haha i see what looks like a GMT800 single cab poking around in the back, yours?

I'm not sure yet. I may not, I'm 6'1 but super long legs so they get in the way a bit. Especially loading a baby seat since I can load it up standing on the ground, I was hitting my shins and that was terrible.

    Currently they're just sitting around

Good eye, lol. It was my old 2006 Chevy 1500 single cab with the HD hood. I "sold" it to my uncles construction company for one of his guys to use

Fair enough, i have a baby on the way so that is definitely a concern i hadnt thought of lol, wife is just early on in the pregnancy and i probably should get a step of some kind before its a PITA to get into the truck.

i had an 05! One of my biggest regrets is selling that truck in 2019, wish i had it hanging around these days. Those seats were so damn comfy.

Ah, congratulations! The steps would be nice for my wife, she's not quite as tall/long as me, so she can't plop the car seat in like I can. A step would let her get up more and make it a bit easier. If anything I'd get some type of slider maybe? Idk, they're expensive and I wouldn't use them for anything more than asthetics.

Yeah, I've not driven many cars that drive as good as that truck does. It was very comfortable. I drove it to and from Denver from Atlanta. Never got a tired back. I'll certainly miss it
