I love my Tundra, but I live in mASSachusetts, where the worst drivers in the country live (not me, of course). When I go to a store, I park as far away from others as possible; my rule is no other vehicle within four spaces on any side. But I still find scuffs, scrapes, and a CRACK on my truck - mainly the rear bumper and taillights.

I want to protect my truck from this abuse. I would love a solution where, if some MASShole bumps, rubs, or hits my truck, their fender/bumper/or whatever gets trashed. I would settle for some kind of overlay to protect the body panel and finish.

Most rear bumpers replace the original, which does not wrap around the back end. I found a few that wrap the edges, but they require cutting body panels, which I would prefer not to do.

Any suggestions? BTW, I sometimes get dinged in the front end, so I am also interested in a front-end bumper/bull guard/etc.

    Lots of stuff!
Try a nice big trailer hitch and some extra wide running boards as a start. One of those nice front bumpers. Then lift it about 8” so the offending vehicles go under yours.

I’ve always heard the term “that’ll buff out” but only recently tried to buff things out…it actually works wonders!
