I’ve had a Scan Gauge 3 installed for about 3 weeks and have a feel for the expected values for oil pressure, coolant temp, transmission temp, oil temp, and ignition timing. Are there any published operating ranges for these parameters? I can set alarm parameters in the Scan Gauge, but don’t know where they should be set.

Coolant temp red zone is 248 F. Transmission and engine oil can usually go higher, H is somewhere between 248 F and 284 F.

Oil pressure and spark timing will vary on load, engine rpm, and other conditions. Just check your oil pressure at idle with a warmed up engine and use that as a reference. While driving the oil pressure should always be higher than at idle.
