Clearly that animal had skin in the game.

It almost looks like a carpet in the picture, but when you see the video, it definitely is animal. That's gnarly. What a way to go, skinned alive.

I'm thinking switch. Do you need to remove the whole door card to access the switch?

I "wound up" with some rodent damage once... Had a field rat go through my timing belt on a VW once. It skipped a tooth in timing. I was lost as to what happened until I noticed a foot stuck to the firewall.

No, but for 2.5hrs, there wasn't a single tech that wouldn't unbolt that axle and pull it out. Besides, were not saving the axle. It's trash. Sold them a new unit and will clean up the fur, bones and blood from the frame rail and underside.

CV axle sanity check. This is what Toyota Parts Overstock sent me. Uh, quite a bit of damage on the inner (flange?) here, I'm about to call and complain part arrived damaged. Am I nuts or being overly picky here?

If I had to guess it looked like it got dropped a few times. You probably only have to bend it back in shape. I’d call to complain and have them send another one or discount what you have for the damage.

Rounded edge with creases, it'll be a PITA to get that anywhere near normal, not favoring a discount.

This is supposedly "last in the country, discontinued", so no option to send another.

I emailed them. I'd need to slide up under the truck to understand if this mates with anything or not, but either way, this thing definitely got banged around/wasn't packed well, and shows damage.

Sucks because this has been dragging out for eons, and I'm not sure if there's a time window on chargebacks. I'm guessing AmEx would probably give at least a 60-day, if not 120 days. If 60 days, we're right. If 120 days, I'm good.

I don’t think it’s anything crucial but that totally sucks and shouldn’t be your problem to try and fix them for free. I wouldn’t return them but I would make them pay for something

    Day 6. It’s been tough.
Days 3 and 4 I had a headache all day and had symptoms of dehydration, even though I’ve been pounding down water. I knew it was all part of the detox process so I made sure not to take any medication as I need my liver to begin to heal.
Yesterday was great. Felt awesome, had lots of energy.
Today I’ve had to stay busy with little projects to keep myself from sitting idle and thinking about it. So far so good.

EDIT: I’ve lost 5lbs this week. I know it’s water weight from changes in my body, but sure helps to feel good about it.

That's what I was thinking. Remember when my lower control arms came damaged where the lower shock bolt slides through? I ended up bending them back and don't think it caused any long term issues. I can't even remember what Serra offered to do for me but it wasn't much.
