So my dealership took my 2021 TRD Pro for a test drive due to alignment issues. When they returned the truck to me there was a noticeable rock chip in the middle of the hood scoop.

The dealer removed the hood scoop and said would try to repair or replace it. Meanwhile my hood has a dozen small holes where clips hold the scoop to the hood.

Do I need to worry about rain getting on the engine through those holes while waiting for who knows how long before the hood scoop is replaced.

I'd cover mine with electrical tape just to keep the water out. Easy to remove with no glue residue left behind.
