Good morning everyone. Hello everyone, my name is Lou. I'm an old jarhead at heart. I've got an issue with my Toyota Tundra, 2007, 4.7 I've already spent a lot of money fixing it and now the Camshaft/Crankshaft Position Sensor A says it needs to be Replaced. Would someone help me by telling me where it is located?? I'm getting old and I'm not sure if I can fix it myself but, it seems that is my only option left. I became disabled back in 1968 in Vietnam and still having to fix things myself. I can't afford the mechanic prices on my disability payments. I was in Khe Sanh, Quang Tri, during the Tet. I was wounded on a hill severely shot in the groin, arm, and side and I've been disabled ever since. I have to fix things myself cause I can't afford to pay any one on my disability check. Now, my truck (2007 Toyota Tundra 4.7) has failed me again by saying the Camshaft/Crankshaft Position Sensor A needs to be REPLACED, but, I can't seem to even find it. Would someone, please, help me?? And, if I'm not asking too much, please, tell me how to replace it?? Oh, I forgot, I'm in my seventy's and I live in Spring Hill, Florida now.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service and sacrifice. I'm guessing that Camshaft / Crankshaft error is a code that popped up? Which code is it specifically? The cam and crank should be separate codes. If the 4.7L in your truck has had the timing belt replaced, it's possible they mis-routed the wiring harness for the cam sensor and the belt is now rubbing through the wires.
