    Hi everyone,

my truck is a 2nd gen 2010 5.7 with 209k km. It’s making the timing chain noise that’s linked to the driver side tensioners, intermittently.

    started 5000km ago.

no codes or lights on the dash. Just the tensioner noise that goes away free warmed up or a little throttle.

has anyone heard of an engine piling up from this issue?

    can I let this fester?

    cheers

Noise goes away after warm up or a bit of throttle.
