I rotate my tires at regular intervals. Already had Toyota perform an alignment around 30k miles. I’m the original owner and now at 60k. Replacing tires in the week and was wondering if the left side Tundra lean could be the cause of excessive uneven wear.

No. It’s an alignment issue. Whether it’s stock or 10” of suspension lift, if the alignment is good, tire wear will be even. If the alignment is off, they’ll wear improperly.

That was my thought. Frustrated the dealer can’t get it right.

Most techs know nothing about how to do a proper alignment and simply chase green. The issue is that Toyotas in spec range is so loose, you can be fully green on paper and still have a jacked up alignment due to the huge range.

Where do most go for the proper alignment then? Find a good shop local to them through trial and error?

Local off road shop typically has a place they send vehicles, if they don’t self perform. I did the above and was sent to a shop that has had my truck tracking straight as an arrow with perfect tire wear for over 70k miles now.

Thank you. I’ll contact one of the few off road shops I’ve found in Northern Virginia. Maybe other members in the area can recommend one.

Find where all the classic car guys and hot rod crowd / suspension shops, etc etc go. That's who you wanna go see.
