Since the smoke mesquite paint has flecks in it, how difficult is it to match paint/fix decent sized areas? Can the scratches in the pictures be corrected/repainted and blended so that it would not be noticeable?

It kinda looks to me that the bed can be corrected, without paint. Hard to tell on the door panel from the picture. But normally if an are needs paint with flake, they’ll want to do the whole panel.

    Ouch!
Owning a similarly flavored 2016 Smoke Mesquite/Sunset Bronze Mica here's been our experience. Ours has a healthy, down right heavy clear coat over the paint layer. As long as you don't break through the clear coat it's generally fairly easy to repair but once ya bust through the clear and paint film you're in for a bit of a serious project. it's just going to depend on the depth of the damage.

You can almost certainly make it a lot better. Check out you tube videos on paint scratch removal. I have personally fixed worse. I try the least destructive method first. In your case wash the area well, then clean it with a clay bar, the try a minor cutting polish and see how it looks. you may need to do more in some areas after that.
