I installed the front and rear red TRD pro sway bars, now I’m going to paint the tow hooks. I think red looks great on all the trucks, BUT…I haven’t seen it on inferno orange. I’m debating painting them an orange color that’s a close enough match to Inferno Orange.

    What are your thoughts?

Also an option and what I would probably do.

does anyone have pics of orange tow hooks on an inferno? That’s really what I’m debating and don’t want to spend $40 on orange if red looks better.

edit: found one pic of inferno. Probably not distinct enough to care about color matching. I also like bright red for the tow hooks since every other truck is like that. I’ll probably start with a cheaper can of red paint instead of ordering inferno.

Personally, I'd paint them orange (generic or actual inferno). I used a generic blue from Rustoleum for mine and I can't express how much it made me smile to walk up to the truck and have that blue peaking out at me. Yes the red looks fine, but everyone paints them red. You have an Inferno!!!! Make that shit unique

Ok you convinced me lol. I’ll start with generic orange and if it looks off I’ll order the inferno color. I think you’re right, on the more bold colors it looks nice to color match since the red doesn’t stand out as much like it does on white or black.

And Inferno is such a great color, we need more of it. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed having the hooks painted. Hope it goes well for you and you love the result.
