    If you watch this Lexus TX review, around the 5:00 mark, the reviewers mention that an upcoming software release will pin the side menu to the left during CarPlay operation. I’m assuming we will also see this in our trucks.

    Gotta say I anxiously wait for split screen CarPlay functionality as well. Crazy to me that Toyota software engineers did not program this at initial install. My 20’ Gladiator had this feature as I like to have Waze open and Sirus running on either half of the screen.With a 14” display this makes even more sense and best use of all that real estate.
    Also safer to have both CarPlay and Toyota functions open and displayed rather constantly having to switch back and forth from one to the other IMHO.
