If you could tell the Chief Engineer who designed your Tundra to add one feature or accessory on the next model (either currently existing or not), what would it be?

 

Do something about the turn radius.

I got two, big grab handles like the f150 had on the doors so you didnt have to lean out to close a fully opened door and over head grab handles so my wife will STFU.

Fix interior/hood glare

 

This is the way…driving an auto is so boring.

 

Limited slip rear dif that works in 2H and 4H. Mechanical design not by applying brakes.

Better mpg even if have to give up some HP. Like a hybrid version focused on better gas mileage not power.

 

Second the over head grab handles!

 

Remote Start keeps the truck running when I unlock a door
Allow infotainment screen to split screen between Toyota Functions (like radio) and Carplay (maps)
Heated Steering Wheel button on the steering wheel vs where it is now
Deploy steps when I hit the unlock button instead of waiting for me to open the door. Prevents people from getting hit in the shin
Tow mirrors that don't require a new wire harness...I'd prefer not to have to buy a new truck to get the mirrors
Fix the HUD so I can move it left and right
More storage in the door card for larger bottles
When I define a custom drive mode, allow me to stay in that Custom mode when I shut the truck down and start it back up. Truck defaults back to 'normal' now
Keep me in tow haul mode unless I turn it off

 

Tow hooks, standard bed steps, standard 120 and usb in the backseat. Add $500 to the truck if you have to, just do it.

For reasons not clear to me, interior grab handles to make my wife happy. I've never needed one but she likes the Ford ones better.

Split screen on the infotainment. That's my #1.

Fix the low speed whistle in the heater diffuser.

They'll never do diesel. Toyota values their reliability reputation too much, and they have openly stated that the USA will never see a Toyota diesel because our regs destroy that reliability. DEF and EGRs have made the million mile diesel a piece of history. Those days are gone. Let them go.

Nailed it, especially the bed steps. Who the hell thought having nowhere to step when the tailgate is down was a good idea? An idiot who has never driven or actually owned a truck, that's who.

 

-Tail gate release inside the truck.
- Tail gate button on both sides not just drivers side.
-Bed step on both sides not just drivers side.
- fix throttle lag.
-better turning radius
