My 03 tundra has weird headlights, the bottom image is when I turn the light switch once, the middle image is when I switch it twice and the very top image is when my high beams are on. Is there a way I can wire it to make the main headlights and side lights turn on in the first switch like in the top image? Cuz I don’t like those side light being on by themselves.

Those are your “parking lamps”. Every car I’ve ever owned has functioned that way, what’s weird about it?

Hi there Edtuma, welcome to the forum.
Your question is quite a unique one for sure. The easiest thing would be to simply turn the headlight switch to the second click (to where both your parking and low beam lights are on). Yes it might be frustrating and aggravating to do, but it will only be for a split second. Every tundra owner in the world has to deal with the same thing, so hang in there! Here’s one idea that might help..maybe close your eyes for that split second while you turn the light switch all the way to where the low beam turns on? Other than that it will most likely you’ll need your truck’s wire diagram, soldering iron, and some quality TXL wire.

    Imma keep it stock
(Bottom pic) First turn, marker lamps on (this includes tail and tag lamps.

(Middle pic) Second turn, previously mentioned lights will remain on, low beam bulbs on and because you have the fog lamp switch turned to on, fog lamps are on.

(Top pic) Push the left stalk forward with the switch turned to the second notch and low beam filament turns off, fog lamps turn off and high beams turn on. All remaining lights from the first turn will still remain on.

    Working as designed.

That’s how the Toyota and just about every other manufacturer has had their lights and switches configured for at least the last 50 years.

I see the fogs on in the 2nd pic. Did you install LED headlights and not realize the problems that happen with LED headlights? Or dou you have the fog light switch ON also?

Ok that makes sense, my guess was that since the truck was involved in a minor accident from the front, that whoever fixed it must’ve wired it wrong, but you cleared my suspicions, thank you
