Hi everyone, I keep getting this BSM See Dealer Error That Keeps Coming On While Driving. As soon as restart the engine then it goes away and starts to work normally. Then after driving for a little bit, it'll come back on. It doesn't do it all the time but most of the time. Any idea what could be causing this issue? I have a 2014 Tundra Platinum Crewmax.

Sensors or connections could be dirty and they will also do that if water gets in them. And you could have a dying sensor

So on the corners of your rear bumper tucked up inside is the "radar" unit it sends a signal through the plastic bumper corner panel to detect objects. I have found here in Ontario, Canada in the winter with the sand and salt spray creates a film that blocks the radar signal. You can blow out with a pressure washer but I prefer a garden hose, soap and I take a plastic 12" ruler with a blue disposal wipe taped to it and sneak it in there and give it a gentle wipe down. These units are stupid expensive $800+ so that's why I go the gentle route and not too harsh with the power washer. It has worked the 3x mine has lit up. It does freak you out. I hope this works for you !! Cheers

Awesome! And another example of why I joined this site. No shortage of people willing to lend a hand, share an experience, give an opinion or offer a leftover part (for what I assume would be) a reasonable price.
