Wow, so is anyone else around the country experiencing this gas "shortage" like we are in San Antonio. I swear people have lost their damn minds.

The media and social networks have created such a panic, everyone is out hunting to fill up their cars. If everyone would have just waited to go when they actually needed it, we wouldn't be in this situation. Idiots.. anyway, I sure hope everyone stays home this weekend and let the gas companies and truckers do their jobs and get every thing full again.

Hope no one spreads a taco shortage in SA, this place will implode. Hahaha

Shortage in Corpus Christi but part of it was due to the hurricane. I heard San Antonio is short on fuel. Not because there is no supply but because the gas stations can not order fast enough. Media created panic just like they did in the 30's

It doesn't seem to be affecting anybody in San Antonio because I'm on I-10 eastbound right here by Fiesta Texas and the highway is jam-packed

Yeah you'd think with the amount of cars on the road. It's probably a line to get into a gas station, haha.

Eastern NC, we're serviced by the Houston to Greensboro pipeline. Pipeline is offline. Gasoline has gone from 2.09 to 2.59 in 6 days. This is the same pipeline that had a leak and was shutdown last year. Every station around me ran out of gas by the end of the week. I think we're looking at a similar scenario now. The only thing I'm worried about is Hurricane Irma coming up the coast when we're already having supply issues.

I filled up my truck, that can get me back and forth to work for 1.5 months. 30 gallons of premium fuel on hand at all times....think I will wait out this recession.

I have been looking at larger acreage properties, and I can say this:

Fuel tanks & Fuel delivery. Thank you.

No shortages here in the Bay Area, but we are expecting the cost of gasoline to rise due to Hurricane Harvey.

No shortages here, prices are up a little but this backwoods town always has higher gas prices than anywhere else I this state.

That's like California all the time.
It's jumped 20 cents in a couple days.

    It's around 3.15 a gallon where I live.

Same thing happened In Waco. The news said that one gas station Might run out or regular gas. and if they do you could get mid grade for the same price. Well everyone took that as buy as many gas cans as you can and get as much gas as you can. I just drove from Waco To Nashville,TN and gas prices have jumped $.20-.50 or more in some places.

Gas is at $2.79 up from $2.53 a few days ago since a pipeline from Texas to New York was damaged.

I was on I-10 east bound last night and there was NO gas whatsoever. We couldn't find any. Gas light was on and it was 11 at night with 120 miles to go. Finally found a gas station that had some gas.

The Addison/Carrollton/Farmers Branch area (just north of Dallas) was out last night. I came in from a trip and tried to fill up in case I get an emergency call today. No luck. I finally went home and hoped for the best. I did find gas this morning at one of the local grocery stores, but the major stations on the same block were out. Gas seems to be available if you get away from the major metro areas, but dense populations use a lot of gas. Hopefully, supplies will even out soon.
