My 2021 Tundra media usb port is not showing up highlighted (option to use) on my display which is making it unable to connect to Android Auto. I have tried 4 different usb chargers. It used to work and then it stopped working.

Check your fuses; have you done any work to the truck lately. And make sure the connection in the rear port is firmly seated

Checked fuses - all fine. No work done except for oil change. Everything seated properly. Phone charges using port.

Stock or aftermarket stereo? If aftermarket you may have to run a new cord (some have proprietary connections).

Stock. The system used to work fine. I have tired a total of 4 chargers. All Samsung. All chargers charge phone when plugged into usb ports on truck. All updates have been done as well.

That's strange. I believe there are fuses on the back of the head units but you would have to pull the radio to get to them. It may be cost prohibitive to get this fixed unless you're still under warranty. You may want to ask if anyone has a stock head unit lying around that they would be willing to part with or upgrade to an aftermarket head unit. It is strange that the port will charge your phone but ill not recognize it for android auto. Could it be your phone? Does it need a software update? Have you tried erasing the profile from the phone and head unit and started over? Sometimes that will do the trick.

I updated android auto, phone and vehicle software that says it fixes the android auto problem. Nothing! I am having the same problem with my husband's Highlander. I also tried both phones. Mine is a Samsung S10 and his is a Samsung A13. Very frustrating to have something working at one time and the poof - gone : (

Sounds like a software / support issue - could you try connecting to a neighbor or family members car to see if the issue happens there too? Will give you an idea whether it's software or vehicle brand related....might be an Entune issue....

Just came across this thread and didn't know my truck had Android Auto capability so I'm trying to connect right this minute and my phone is also not detecting. Trying 2 different cables, deleted and reinstalled Android auto on my Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra, and also I have the stock stereo in my truck :(

I'd really like to figure this out as Ive never used Android Auto before.
