So, after about 100 miles of driving after I changed over to an Odyssey AGM battery, I had a CEL pop up for braking assist controller and call dealer. Turned truck on an off again thinking it was a fluke and it went away. About 100 miles of driving later, code is back. Nothing appears to be wrong with the truck or the brake system but obviously something is causing this CEL to come on. I checked the app and it’s related to the radar it seems which seems likes it’s completely unrelated but I’m sure I’ll get blamed at the dealer even though I didn’t mess with anything other than the battery. The truck is clean and the sensor isn’t obstructed.

Tomorrow going to try swapping back to the OEM battery and double check all connections and stuff but wondering if any insight into what else I should check for or if anyone else experienced the same and what resolution was.

Everything you mentioned comes on with even a loose gas cap on this truck. What failure codes are in the ECU memory?

doesn’t say anything on the cluster now except check engine and see dealer. The code in the app is screen shot’d below

A decent OBD2 scan tool will give you an alphanumeric code to aid the diagnosis and might even be able to clear the fault.

They can be had for very little coin these days - or just borrow one from Autozone.

(EDIT I haven’t hooked one up to a 3rd gen yet - I’ll take my Scangauge out and see how it goes)

Yes. Please wait for an actual code. The one you listed is not familiar to me
