Oil change help

So doing the first oil change on my 2011 5.7 Everything is going well until I noticed that the filter I got part 04152-yzza5 is much shorter than the one I am replacing. Pic attached. The previous oil change was done by toyota. It's about an inch shorter. Toyota is closed if this is not the right one can a fram or equivalent be ok until I can change it to the right toyota?

 

Looking at the filter and it has a different number in the filter itself..

 

Probably gave you the wrong one. I always get mobile 1 full synthetic oil with the STP filter bundle at AutoZone personally. Haven’t had any issues yet.

 

It’s just a filter. If you change your oil every 5k interval, you’ll be fine. I buy these filters in bulk on Amazon to save some money. But you can just go to local auto parts store or even Walmart and get a filter for your Tundra.

Pretty sure local Oreillys should have something in stock for you.

 

Not taking any chances and got an stp filter for now. Side by side and it's same diameter and height. Should be good for 5k.

 

And make sure you got the perforated center tube in place,otherwise low oil pressure.

 

Filter housing itself was not an issue, only the size difference between what was given to me and what came out of the truck.
