Has this happened to any one else?
I could’ve sworn that I saw it on here before but I couldn’t find it by searching. About half way through my 30 min drive to and from work my 14” screen just goes black and music stops. It then boots back up but before getting to the normal screen it shuts off again and just keeps cycling like that. Pulled over shut the truck off and restarted and it didn’t do anything. But when the truck sits all day while I’m at work it works again until about half way through the drive. Just updated my phone last night and it still did it this morning. Only other thing to mention is I got a radio scanner (fire/police/ems) and plugged it into the cigarette plug on the dash. And it started acting up. Going to try and unplug it on the way home today and see what that does. Does anyone else have any ideas or have experienced this?

My 8” screen never shits off! But my 2016 4Runner when new would shut off after hours on a road trip. I guess it was more of a reboot as it would start back up on its own.

why remove from CarPlay though? Curious what you think would be the problem there.

Maybe the connection behind the dash isn't seated properly and that's why it's shitting off?
