It is still cheaper than the platinum. I just really loves that saddle leather color and the long truck bed. Lol and yes she does have a sister!

yeah this kinda pissed me off, i wanted hud but no avs or auto boards or would have compromised with hud and auto boards.

i had to get avs, hud and auto boards since my region required all 3

Platinum Hybrid is the way to go IMO. Other members made a good point as your a tier higher if you do decide to trade in later on with a higher base point.

I picked up a 1794 hybrid even though I could have settled on loaded limited. A wise man once told me rather have the features and not need them rather stress over features you wished you had later on.

Best of luck! 74K isn't bad OTD.

    appreciate all your input.....
ok, now the TRD pro bug has bitten me.
seem to be scarce though. Also don't think I could get as much of a discount (maybe no discount at all)??
there is a used one local to me...2023 9k miles 68k.
feels a bit high but maybe these trucks just retain value better?

I agree with everyone, Platinum is the way to go. BUT the air suspension ride is terrible. I specifically searched for a Platinum without it. I don’t know if Toyota has improved it since the 22 but I would avoid air suspension like the plague.

Mine is a 22 with air and I think the ride is fine. You might want to look into it if it is so bad. I honestly cant tell the difference from when I am aired, and when I am not. This thing rides smoother than my wifes Lexus aired or not

Don’t have air suspension. When I test drove it, the rear slammed over the expansion joints on the highway. I guess they fixed it.

The best truck would be a 1794 dark brown interior with platinum exterior but with the 1794 gray fender flares instead of the black platinum flares….I would be completely fine with a well optioned limited tho

They make up for with hand down the best interior saddle brown. Also it doesn’t cost much to de chrome the exterior

if you like it that’s cool, getr done, but I’m not feeling the saddle brown which is not the color of a worn saddle anyways.

Platinum is the best , easily , ha!

Don't fear the cream. I've had it on two prior vehicles, no issues, gets the same TLC as my other bland/boring rental car interior colors.
I have mesquite / cream, it's been referred to as a gentleman's color combo. And, best yet, the ladies will comment how nice it looks which never happens with other interior colors.

After way too much deliberation I opted for the 2024 platinum hybrid off-road. Had everything I wanted. Main sticking point for me was getting the JBL system and the power package that has the 110 in the bed. Got it for 71k. Also had heads up display and running boards.

HUD and RB on OR? That wasn't allowed the first 2 years, but neither was OR on Platinum. Hmmm, I might have to look around.

Edit: I assumed they are, but gotta ask are they powered running boards?

Platinum OR is new for 24. I attached the trucks window sticker. I had to call around to three different dealerships to get that price. One dealership was $7000 over msrp, one was at msrp, this one was $3500 offIMG_9055.png IMG_8889.jpg

Yes, I know it's new for 24, my mistake in thinking it came with powered running boards too. See my edit I added after initial post.
I've had 2 Gen3s, if they did the Plat OR Hud w/pwr RB, then I would look at trading up. $$$ to burn...

I missed that edit, wish they had better a la carte options but I’m very content with the package I chose. Just wish it had better interior storage

Hybrid storage does suck more then non-hybrid. I put a Plano Storage Trunk in the box, carries necessities, almost need 2.

I usually have a plastic tote strapped in the bed with beach necessities and my Cliq chairs. Nice to be able to grab it and haul the whole thing to the beach and be beach ready in seconds.

Sweet Pickup! Congrats. Yea i was on the fenced over the TRD 1794 vs the power board 1794 which sucks why you cant get powerboards on TRD specs.
