I'm still stock, if I run 65mph and under , I can achieve 20-22 on the highway. City mileage is a worthless calculation, as @Ruggybuggy says, too many variables.

Honestly, I don't know how any of you are getting some of the MPG results you are getting. I have a 2016 Tundra SR5 double cab, 4x4 all stock and the best, (and I mean very best) I have ever seen since purchasing the truck brand new was 13~14 mpg on the highway. And when I hook my bass boat up to it, that drops to 10~11 mpg. I love the truck but the fuel efficiency absolutely sucks and is even worse than my previous truck which was a 5.4 1997 Ford F150 4x4.

I second the comment others have made about wheel/tire weight. I gained gas mileage when I changed my setup more than when I regeared to 5.29s. I was running heavy 20" black rhino wheels with 35s and switched to 17" SSW wheels that are much lighter and still on 35s. I get about 16-17 on the highway and 11-12 city. Driving habits also matter. I like to coast as long as I can when I'm coming to a stop without pissing anyone off behind me.

    These threads are funny.
