Is the 2010 a good year? Found one with 152000 miles. Carfax shows 5 owners. Has 5.7l, 6'6" bed, sr5, towing package. 4x4 extra cab. Asking $12999. Anything to look for on these? Found one video that shows on certain model years oil leaks into where spark plug boot is. Thanks

Yes. Rust. Check under the bed liner.

Otherwise check maintenance records and have a qualified mechanic do an inspection prior to purchase. Depending on how it has been and will be cared for, it could last another 200k easy.

Thank you. Is there any issues with steering or brakes? Carfax shows both flushed at 131000. Last owner only had for 15000.

I don't see any broad issues with those, and if they flushed those fluids, it's a good sign the previous owner was good about maintenance.

I would not trust Carfax and the mileage. We just had a guy here with about the same mileage all Carfax checked out and he had to do a timing chain job.He posted pictures of his used parts and if that vehicle had 130k on it I would eat my shorts. The chainguides where so worn out and full of burned on sludge that I would think this vehicle had more than 500k on it.Mine has 230k and things in the engine look very clean compared to the one this guy bought. And with five owners already I would walk away from it.Something here doesn't add up because these vehicle go for ever if properly maintained.Mine is a 2011
