Today in 2020 this guy showed up in my garage a 2nd time eating the cat food. First time was thanksgiving day. This time we let him in. After a few weeks of no one claiming him from the flyers, FB posts and notifying the shelter, we took him in. He had heart worms and under weight. Heart worms are gone and I had to put him on a diet when he swole to 99lbs.
    IMG_6977.jpg
this is him now. He’s not spoiled at all.

I think they are talking. Our other just showed up as well. We had another try it summer before last but he peed on a plant in the house so my wife found him a new home. He was that close to cashing in and blew it at the finish line.

Thought I was being smooth, vet is just down the street from where I’m delivering. Dropped her off in the morning, pickup in the afternoon. Load her in the mailtruck, and the starter goes out. Time for plan B calling a friend for a ride, and then getting a different mail truck.IMG_0987.jpg

Those eyes! She seems more pissed about the vet visit then she does about what truck she's actually in. :)

Family member tells me a stick of butter went missing from the countertop the other day. Asked the Border Collie Mix about it, and wondered how it made him feel. Got pretty much these two looks from the character. I think he said, let's roll!

Also, how does the Husky do this and not pull a hammy.

I've bought and trashed a lot of dog brushes in my years.
This is the best one I ever found.
When I say "Let's brush" Maverick literally jumps up and down and runs for the back door..

Brush, push the button, dump the hair, push the button, and continue to brush.

Thank you very much for the compliment! I bought the 1971 F250 from a friend of a friend back in the late 90's for $200. I swapped in a Detroit No-Spin HP D60 front, Detroit No-Spin D70 rear, NP205 TC, an AA Ranger Overdrive torque splitter, power steering, power brakes, hydraulic dump bed. Someone had already swapped in a 67/68 Mercury FE 410 engine. The truck is currently under the knife again. I swapped in a 95 12 valve cummins, NV4500, and NP241 transfer case, and hydroboost brakes. The whole drivetrain and brakes are completely set and done. I'm now trying to figure out what radiator to fit (and how to fit) behind my intercooler...along with the planned A/C condenser.

The bed trailer is a left overs from when i converted my 77 2wd F250 over to 4wd. I didn't have the heart to simply scrap it out, so i decided to use the rear portion of the left over 2wd frame and the left over 1979 bed. I'm not really a fan of the look of pickup bed trailers, but gosh darn it, this one has been totally awesome for hauling firewood and scrap metal. I found a pair of random Timbren bumpstops at the junkyard for less than $10, an old school parking brake lever for another $8. That allowed me to integrate the Dana 60's rear parking brake cables into that brake handle. So when i park the trailer, i don't have to chock the tires.

The dog is an oversized purebred Australian Shepherd. Out of the litter of 8, he was double the size of the rest of them. We currently have 3, his mother, sister, and him. He scales in around 70lbs! The vet says he's definitely not fat, just big boned. All he and his mother lives for is to herd my dirtbikes and little mini bike while taking hot laps around the property. His mom will run about 15' in front of me (to lead the way), and he will run right, and i mean right next to my knee. Them barking like crazy, me laughing uncontrollably. I'll have my right foot resting on his front shoulders while we're going about 20mph. Or i'll try to grab his tail (so far no crashes yet) during all of the screwing around. Yes, i'm a grown man and not a 20 year old kid. I wasn't really much of a dog fan when i was younger, but i REALLY clicked with this dog. So yeah, i love him.

It doesn't matter how bad my day is or what I am going through at the time. A cute picture of puppies, especially lab puppies, always bring a smile to my face!
