14 inch Infotainment Display Issue

I am wondering if all the screens are the same when in night mode? Note the shade right across the top of the display being darker than the rest. Even if you go full brightness and contrast in the settings it makes little difference. I did not take a pitcure of it but in daytime mode the top of the display seems more washed out than the rest as well.

 

I would say you have a display that is failing. Mine definitely does not do that.

I have a 2024 and mine does that too!

 

Maybe it's an indication that the motor is about to blow or radio knob is about to fall off?

Is it possible the protective plastic on the screen is causing the problem?

 

Thanks for the feedback. I am bringing the truck in for my 2nd fob and the park brake ECU reprogram on Tuesday. I am going to enquire about the display. Personally I don't think it should do that but so far with these responses looks like most have the same thing.

 

lol…the radio knob.. I gently turn mine.

As far as the screen, it does not happen in the CarPlay feature as the map is clear. I believe this may be normal for 2024. I’ll bring it up to the dealer at the 5000 mile check in.

 

Engine and knob still perfect. Checked for the dealer installed film and it's been removed by the dealer.

 

Well, I have to take back what I said. My screen does do that. I have the brightness turned all the way down and it is barely visible so I never noticed it. Once I turned up the brightness it is definitely there. Sorry for the confusion.
