    2006 tundra access cab
My wife and I purchased a Highlander in 2005 and we loved it, she is still driving it, have had no major problems 175,000 miles. I then purchased a 2006 Tundra access cab and drove it for a couple of years then gave it to my son. I then purchased a 2008 Tundra drove for a couple of years and gave it to my other son and I purchased a used low mileage 2008 4 runner. As you can see I am sold on Toyota. My 2008 4 Runner had almost 300,000 when someone ran a stop sign and hit the drivers side and totaled it; thankfully no one was hurt; side air bags worked like they were suppose to. My son had recently purchased a Tundra of his own and he gave the 2006 Tundra back to me which I now drive and I love the size of it. I am not found of the size of the Tundras after 2006. The 2006 Tundra had one major problem, the intake manifold started leaking and my son and I pulled the intake and replaced the gasket, problem solved. The only other problem is the rack and pinion is starting to leak and I will let a professional do that repair. It has 165,000 miles and other than those two problems the truck has been great and I am glad to have it back. I am having trouble with the third brake light but will post my question about that later, I have rambled on enough for now.
