I just can't do regular WT, even a handful of friends said it was some of the worst stuff they ever tried. The Kentucky Spirit is a bird of a different color though.

I prefer 101 - this one is a pretty good sipper though.

Was given these 2 yesterday as a gift. Tried both and the HH was the easy winner as I am not a Scotch fan, first time for both.

@Pac12AfterDark they have several more behind the cases at the front of the store at Lee's in Wendover.

I would have missed these because they are nowhere near the other bourbons but happened to catch it on my way out.

Never had or even seen a Birthday for sale but I did have an opportunity to buy the OF 150 yesterday but couldn't pull the trigger at $400. Would really like to try both though.

They're my absolute favorite. They really vary year to year. I've been lucky to acquire a nice collection of them over the years.

I've been known to pay secondary for certain bottles. I wouldn't put the OF150 in that category.

2017 is my top. 2022 was pretty good. 2014/2015 were very close. The oldest I've had is 2013. 2020 probably my least favorite

Lat night a buddy and I sampled Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat, Eagle Rare and Blanton's, and that is how I liked them in that order. In fact the Blantons which I like on its own was so different than the other 2 I could almost say I didn't like it, strange.

I would agree with this. I enjoy it on its own but not in a line up. I was gifted this bottle and it’s fun to have a sip out of.

It's been a busy and a bit hectic these last few days, up here at the North Pole; so Santa is starting the weekend off w/the distinct flavor profiles of Weller's Antique 107 (served neat of course) :santa2:

The only thing that would make this little treat even tastier is a small plate of @TaquitoBandito inspired Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

Have you had a chance to try Pure Kentucky??? It's another Willett offering that's bottled at 107 proof, and if memory serves me correctly is aged about 12 years. It's been a while since I've had it (hard to export many of the finer things in life up her to the North Pole), but I recall it being very smooth and easy drinking for a 107 proof; it was very toffee and caramel forward with a good lingering spice and leather finish (Santa is a bit compulsive w/his note taking )...

Anyhow, if you happen to find it, price point should only be around $45-$60ish and well worth trying at least once :santa2:

haven’t but I’ll keep an eye out. I’m in Idaho….so whatever state run liquor decides to order or gets allocated is my selection point. It’s both good and bad….get some great stuff at prices much better than elsewhere but also don’t get a good bit of selection compared to some areas
