2012 door lock issues

Howdy ya'll, just picked up a new to me 2012 Tundra sr5 crew with 140k miles. Having issues with the door lock. When the driver door is unlocked, the key fob only works when I hit the unlock button. Then when the driver door is locked, only the lock button on the key fob works. Now when I say works, none of the doors unlock or lock when I click it, but the truck makes the beep/flashes as if it's working. The lock/unlock button on the driver and passenger door panels also do not work. When I try, I hear a clicking from behind the dash area behind the steering wheel. I have to maually lock/ unlock all the doors. Any ideas?

 

I checked the fuse and changed the master switch, same issue persists. Any ideas?
