Well, it seems with some research that my King coilovers may be set too high. The guy that services them for me says they're most likely topping out as I go over the backside of a speedbump. He explained that they are trying to reach the ground after dropping over the backside and extending all the way and extending too far.

I've read that King says that 5 threads=1".
My driver side has 15 threads
    Passenger has 12 threads.

Anyone know what the Toyota lean is? 1/4', 1/2" 5/8'?

2” Lift, Bilstein 5100’s and 885’s second notch, Rear 5100’s Icon 3 Leaf Pack and Firestone Air Bags w/Daystar Cradles. Spider Trax 1.25” Wheel Spacers, 4Runner Pro Wheels, Falken AT3W 285/75r17 (34x11).
It’s typically called the Taco lean. My 16’ Tacoma after I lifted it leaned 1 1/4” to the left. Gas tank 4WD adds to it.

How bad is the clunk, unless your shocks are cranked up, it probably isn’t them.

SwayBar links and tranny mounts are pretty common, also loose lower control arm bolts can allow the control arms to clunk back and forth. Also, old balljoints can clunk, but that normally is accompanied by a squeak/creak.

    oh, and…

@AWilliams Do you still have the stock Upper Control Arms installed on the truck or do you have aftermarket ones?

In my case I tracked my clunk back to my new leaf packs. Specifically the two smallest leafs, on the drivers side. To figure it out, I crawled under the truck, tucked my knees up and pushed the whole truck up and down from passenger side of spare wheel, then driver side. Sure enough, lifting the driver side CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK.

Check to make sure each of your leaf springs has the little plastic round disc in each end between every leaf.

Also note - I have my original leafs and the passenger side has had a broken spring for years - it will cluck if it flexes enough. Seems this is kinda common for original springs.
