I have a 2015 supercharged Tundra which has had incorrect readings in the center display for MPG and range since I bought the truck. Typically shows 18-19 MPG all around (combined) driving. But after doing a fill/refill check, my best estimate is it is ~5 MPG off. Based on my research it is because the SC installation changes out the fuel injectors to larger one's, but apparently Toyota never updated the software/firmware to correct for that. The times I've questioned the dealership in the past on this issue they claimed there were no updates or they played like they didn't understand the issue. Sort of annoying to have a instrument display console not worth a shit. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Do the newer SC installs (i.e. Magnuson, etc.) also have this issue?

Whatever this forum told me to do
    it be what it be.

get a Scanguage 3 for correct readings.

The tune changes the injector duty, hence, your dash readout is wonky.

The factory read out isn’t accurate. We supercharged peeps also recommend and updated aftermarket tune. The tune included with that blower is not great. Just an fyi

Use the readout to tell the wife/gf you're near hybrid mpg and know you're actually getting smiles per gallon... it's a nuance you can adjust in your head... it is very annoying but after 40k miles of tracking I get roughly 5.2mpg less then what's read on dash...

I can never read my dash mpg anyway…. It always reads “TRACTION CONTROL OFF” :p

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I'll just continue to keep a mental note it is 5 MPG less. But if I'm trying to impress someone just say, "Dang can you feel all that power and it damn near get 20 MPG too!"
