Perusing the inventory at my local LKQ and they have a late 1st gen Sequoia in their inventory, that looks to be in pretty decent condition. So I plan to take a trip out there to look for parts I need/want. It's rare for them to have a late 1st gen, early 1st gens they always seem to have a couple.

Anything I should try to grab while I'm there?

    My current list is:
Mostly just parts that are broken/worn out in my '06 Sequoia.
    • Front and rear bumper covers
    • Fuel injectors
    • Side view mirrors (power folding)
    • Drivers seat (only if in great condition)
    • Plastic cover for the tailgate strap
    • Wheels (only if in great condition)

I mean, I’d check for the overhead console(s) and wiring.

I’d look at/for the center console, seat heater switches and harnesses, the black plastic covers/blanks and pockets in the center console that are unobtanium these days. If the mirror has Homelink it’s worth grabbing it and the harness. Those are the big things I typically see people wanting on here.

Bring home the 3rd member and then weld up the spiders gears. Before your next big wheelin trip swap it into your axle housing. Instant Lincoln locker!

How big is your shop? Maybe grab the brake booster and MC? It would make a great spare part. Same thing for the front brake calipers. I suppose the rear as well.

Overhead console and sunroof motor. OEM sunroof motor was like $560 a couple years ago when I looked, pulled one from a LKQ for $19 for my wifes old Sequoia. That thing working and my rear window working were two of the bigger selling points when I sold the truck a few weeks ago.
