After doing various things I took my Tundra into my favorite mechanic. I had just replaced the EFI relay in the fuse box and all appeared good. While in for unrelated service it acted up again. To make a long story short, he replaced the C/OPN and F/PMP relays also. That combination took care of the problem. I had him keep the truck for 10 days and leave outside in the cold. My problem was definitely cold weather related. While camping in Utah desert as it got colder every morning it got harder to start each morning but always started. After morning start it was always good for the rest of the day.
If you have this problem, replace or swap relays in your fuse box. A month later, all seems to be good.
