I'm thinking this sale isn't really a sale. I pulled RAV4 part numbers and prices from McGeorge in September, and Serra Toyota is actually higher today even with the "sale".

I just read the fine print. The discount is applied once you add the items to your cart and go to checkout.

I just did that with 4 suspension parts and it took off $119.01 for the Black Friday sale. 25%.

    So I was wrong. :anonymous:

@shifty` I tried going to Serra Toyota of Birmingham and I'm not sure they have a separate website for parts. Right now I'm shopping on Autoparts.serratoyota.com They are honoring the 25% sale and free shipping. I hate to use them again but I'm not seeing a better option. They aren't charging me tax either.

It doesn't look like Ourisman aka McGeorge is participating in the sale.

Weird. They used to have two different instances. I would assume bham is handling the parts fulfillment being in a major city, but … the only way you’ll know is based on whose email is in the autoresponder msg once you order …

I have some parts I need to get too, so … I may bite the bullet and order. Window latches, booster check valve, and potentially some hoses.

So there is Autoparts.serratoyota.com and autoparts.toyotaofdecatur.com

I called and confirmed Birmingham is the first one. The guy I spoke to in parts was helpful and confirmed a few part numbers.

I went to the BST trade page to buy those 4.56 gears that have been for sale for a while. They sold already.

I'm considering an audio upgrade. Got all the components selected from Crutchfield, about $1250. But I want to give the Tundra a couple of months and see if I stop thinking that a Tacoma will be better given how little use I give it.

Why the hell would a Taco be better? Have you started a Pros/Cons list yet?

Having owned 2 Tacomas before this tundra, I can happily say the tundra is better. Specifically the 1st Gen tundras we have. Even if you barely use it, insurance is cheaper, gas is about the same, more bed space and more cabin room rocks
Personally I had a bad experience with solo with their UCAs, granted they owned up to their mistake and fixed it, just sucked. Otherwise I loved those UCAs on my taco, sooooo…

Been lurking these forums since I purchased my Truck a month ago. For sure, looking for place to buy 5100s, Black Friday or not. Any recommendations?
